About
Cuban singer Estrella Acosta and her latin jazz quintet Esquina 25 celebrate the release of their eponymous CD. Their personal take on Cuban music offers room for inventivity and improvisation. Esquina 25 was named after a street corner in Havana, a symbolic meeting point between cultures, generations and musical genres. Estrella grew up in Cuba and came to Amsterdam by way of Austin, Texas.
